Queering Mental Health

THE PODCAST

A mental health podcast from the margins.

2026 marked the last year of the annual Queering Mental Health Conference, which ran for 5 years. It was a conference that brought together some of the greatest minds in the field of therapy and mental health, to push at the margins and expand what work in this field could look like. The conference truly felt like a community and we want to keep the space for that community open and building towards new ideas.

So we’re trying out a podcast!

Join as we address nuanced, interesting, in-depth, and challenging aspects of our work as therapists and counsellors. We’ll talk amongst the Our Landing Place team, invite in guests from around the world, and come forward with bravery.

You have to be the nurturer. So I imagine a space like this would again be that pressure off your shoulders where you can show up to be cared for.”

“I'm excited to, to kind of see how we all vibe sort of hanging out in that podcast space. And also like really getting to showcase people's personalities. Like we have some big personalities on our team and we have so much fun when we're together. And we really do sort of bounce, like Nicole said, like we nerd out together. Like we are bouncing those things off of each other. And it's just, I think it would be really fun to see that come to life and then have, you know, almost sort of like an archive of that, even selfishly for us to like get to look back at this and be like, remember when we had that silly conversation about people? Or like, oh, remember when we had that like really deep conversation about that important thing? Yeah. That'll be, that'll be a really exciting thing to watch.”
