Intersections Program for
Black and POC Queer Individuals
The Intersections Program recognizes the structural challenges queer Black folks and People Of Colour face and offers ongoing subsidized therapy sessions with culturally competent clinicians.
Black joy is revolutionary.
The world doesn’t make it easy. But it’s worth fighting for.
Structural inequalities are relentless. Microaggressions pile up around the edges. Functioning in a world that isn’t invested in your joy or success is exhausting. And one of the ways this world doesn’t invest in Black people and People of Colour is through the limited access to mental health supports. The intersectional experience of also being queer adds more layers of complexity.
We are so lucky in our clinic to have some truly caring, engaged, and culturally competent practitioners. They are working hard to provide care for these communities, but they need your help to create sustainable programming that offers long term support.
