Hi, I’m Dolcee

(she/her)

Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying)

You can expect a therapy session with me to feel like…

…a warm, collaborative space where you can unmask and let your mind move at its natural pace. Whether we spend time talking things through, connecting with emotions, or experimenting with practical strategies, we’ll work at your pace. Our sessions are a space where all parts of you are welcome - the messy, the meaningful, and everything in between.

Some phrases you may hear me use in sessions:

“That makes sense.”

“A part of you feels [this], but another part feels [that].”

I define my role as…

…a fellow traveler walking alongside you on your journey. I’ll offer curiosity, compassion, honest reflection, and practical tools as we work together to understand patterns, process emotions, and support you in finding a way forward that feels aligned with who you are.

…looking for a space to untangle your thoughts, explore new perspectives and collaborate on practical strategies. If you think in tangents, process out loud, love to info-dump, and appreciate a balance of humour, curiosity, and meaningful conversations, we’ll work well together.

You’ll enjoy working with me if you’re…

I enjoy clients who…

…are figuring things out. I love working with people who are navigating life transitions, exploring their identity, trying to better understand how their mind works, or simply looking for a steady, supportive place to land.

I love creating a space where people don’t have to perform, mask, or have all the answers. It is an honour to witness someone’s story, support them through life’s transitions, and celebrate the moments of clarity, connection, and self-understanding that emerge along the way.

I lead with curiosity and believe every person’s story deserves to be understood beyond a diagnosis or label. My goal is to understand the whole person sitting across from me so our work feels personalized, collaborative, and meaningful.

As a neurodivergent, queer immigrant, my personal journey directly shapes my clinical lens and how I view mental health. Living at the intersection of these identities has deepened my appreciation for the ways culture, systems, and belonging influence our well-being, and sense of self.

I wanted to become the kind of compassionate, understanding support I wished I had when I was younger and navigating life and grief as a neurodivergent person. I have been fascinated by the human psyche and interpersonal relationships since childhood, driven by a lifelong curiosity to truly understand people. This passion evolved into a desire to support marginalized communities and give back through meaningful, accessible care.

I am inspired by…

I am inspired by the brilliant colleagues around me, from whom I learn and grow every day. Most of all, I am inspired by my clients who show up, lean into the vulnerability, and do the hard work. Witnessing their courage and strength motivates me to evolve and expand my own practice.
