Therapy for 2SLGBTQIA+ Entrepreneurs.

Welcome! If you’re a 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneur living in Canada, you’ve come to the right place!

Our Landing Place has partnered with Canada's 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) to provide fully funded counselling and mental health services to entrepreneurs across the country.

Below you will find information about the program as well as a self-referral application form.

Program Information

  • Who can access these services?

Individuals who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ and are entrepreneurs aged 19+ who currently live in Canada.

It is not necessary to be a member of CGLCC.

  • How many sessions does each person receive?

Each successful applicant will be allotted up to a maximum of 8 sessions to be used within a 3-month period. Once you have used your sessions, you will have the opportunity to apply for additional sessions (based on availability).

In order to minimize wait times and serve as many community members as possible, we cannot guarantee additional sessions.

  • Do I get a say in who my therapist is?

Absolutely! You deserve autonomy and agency in your mental health journey, and that begins with choosing your therapist.

You will be offered a free 15-minute consultation to ensure you feel the therapist is a good fit before starting any sessions.

You can check out our therapists’ bios here to learn more about our team.

  • How do I apply?

The first step is to fill out the form below. This will secure your spot on the wait list. You don’t need a referral from a medical or other professional, you can simply refer yourself to our program.

  • What happens after I apply?

As soon as we receive your application you will be added to the wait list. We aim to keep wait times as short as possible, and will contact you as soon as one of our therapists has an available spot. Typically, you will hear from us within 1-2 weeks.

From there, you will be offered a short consultation with one of our therapists. If you feel it’s a good fit, you and the therapist will schedule your sessions and begin your journey together. If you complete the consultation and determine the therapist is not the right fit for you, let us know and we will connect you with a different therapist.

  • What happens once I've used my funded sessions?

Once you have used all of your funded sessions, you are welcome to continue working with your therapist if you would like to. You will discuss their rates and availability with them.

You can also apply for additional sessions using the renewal application form below. While we can’t guarantee additional sessions, we do our best to be able to offer as many sessions to as many folks as possible.

Please complete one of the following forms to refer yourself to our program. You will be contacted to schedule a free 15-minute consultation with one of our therapists as soon as there is a spot available for you.
